Hi,
I want to interface SD card or MMC Card to the Microcontroller.
But i have some queries.....
Do all the SD cards used in the mobile suports SPI interfacing?
I have seen SANDISK & TRANSCEND SD cards available in the market?
Can i use these cards to interface with microcontroller(My Controler is silabsC8051F005, it supports SPI,I2C)?
Where can i get the Technical datasheets for these cards?
Please Suggest me.

Hi,
Bascially SD card can be interfaced with microcontroller in three modes
SPI Mode
SD (4-bit) mode.
SD (1-bit) mode
Please refer the pdf for full details.

Dear Saktivel,
Thanks for replying and the datasheet.
Where can we get the connector for these SD cards.
How do we interface this SD card to Microcontroller,means can we directly connect the card to controller pins.
Please clarify my doubt.

Hai
I had a different option.
A card reader has it. It costs Rs.150
Break it up and use the holder
