Hi guys,

I am heading for an interview in a communication consulting company. They asked me to know what is the "nature of consulting engineering work"? As someone who'd been working as an an RF and antenna engineer on non-consulting roles, I will appreciate any tips regarding the nature of consulting jobs and what is usually required from those engineers.

Consultant usually do the same engineering job as a full time engineer. Companies hire consultants when they have short time need or temporary shortage in engineers.

There is also high level consulting when you are the top level professional and company need your help.
