That is a pretty broad request. i simple LED is easy. set up an LED on a breadboard with a resistor, maybe like a 220 ohm. hook it up to like a 5V power supply and you should see the led light up. there are two leads to the LED, the anode and the cathode. Generally the anode would get the resistor with the 5V behind that (the anode is also usually the longer lead). The cathode then will go to ground. once power is applied the LED should light up. If not, try inverting the LED as sometimes the anode and the cathode can be inverted.

em.. my mistake.. i asked a wrong question.. what i meant was if u see hobby kit book, there's a bunch of circuit for student to use for their final project.. i want to create my own circuit from scracth.. like flashing led.. alarm.. and even a radio wave transmitter.. i dont understand how to put the component.. how the calculation is done.. and how the electronic flow.. u see.. when u study.. u ALWAYS calculate small circuit.. rlc, rc, series parallel, kirchoff, bridge and so on.. but it doesnt help at all when i want to create my own circuit.. and dont know how to start.. please help me.. sorry for the broken english..

I see, basically what you want to do is make a flow chart or box diagram of what you are trying to accomplish. then you research what components will best perform the task at hand. most component will have a typical design right in the datasheet. once you have an idea of the design of each small circuit around the major components you are using, then you want to analyze these and add them together to ensure that you supply the proper voltage and current. Also, remember that you typically want to use components that are rate at twice the voltage you plan on passing through them, otherwise you will have a headache of components mysteriously failing for apparently no reason.

wish i could be more help, maybe someone else has more to add.

em.. i know scripting and programming.. and i took programming course.. in real life.. u think of something and try coding it.. try and error method.. This is what i want to do with electronic.. can someone point me a book.. really good book for dummies like me to start creating my own circuit? eg: try to create something that already exist. In programming there are thousand ways to create one thing and i think in electronic is the same. Hope someone can help me. how to get started?? arghh help me! help me! and by the way.. i already finish my electronic course. so i know the basic.. theory.. alot!! damn theory without practical!
