I need a simple circuit that will allow me to use a PIC, such as a basic stamp, to measure current flow.

I'd like to be able to measure the current flow in every circuit in my home circuit breaker.

I know this can be done with a clamp-on multimeter (i've used one for this), but we ought to be able to build a simple sensor, that could be interfaced to a micro.

i'd like to use a loop detector, so that we don't have to actually interface it to the household wiring. I think if we do that we're going to have some significant safety, code, insurance issues (bad stuff)

thanks

Hi senojjones, there is another section of the edaboard called "Microprocessors".

You may send your question there as well, there are lots of discussions on PIC circuit.
