Hello,
It took me some time to finally realise that embedded systems is what I really want to do.
I was playing around with PICs when I was in University and never considered it as 'studying'. I have quit my office job because it was too damn boring and I decided to go back in the University as there is not embedded industry in my country.
Anyway, coming September I will start a PhD and I was wondering if you could help me out choosing a subject.
I dont have any 'serious' knowledge on embedded systems but I am cathing up fairly quickly (oh and I am 28 years :/ )
I have started reading about RTOS and WSN and I really find it interesting and I think this is the main subjects I want to base my research on. I have already started developing my own WSN based on ZigBee.
However, I find it extremely difficult to find a subject to research (that hasn't been already researched). Most of the papers I have read are way too progressed based on years of their university in house knowledge. So I am stack and I am asking for some help!
