Circuit equivalent to 4557D
Hi everyone,
I'm designing a distortion pedal. In the schematic there's a dual opamp labelled 4557D. However, I can't find information on this device on the web. Does anyone know the complete name of this device or a possible replacement?
Thanx in advance for the help

Re: Circuit equivalent to 4557D
For distortion pedal, you can use a generic dual op-amp like lm358, 1458 or tl082.
If you want low noise, use a tl072.
Generally, a guitard pedal is powered with a 9v battery and a rail to rail op-amp is a good choice.
Bye.
