hi, im new here;
i want to integrate a gsm module to my micro controller project
the gsm module should be able to
recieve message and reply to the same number indicating the status in my project
and should be able to control a switch through sms
i have looked into sim300 from simcom
r there any cheaper once than this?
and if got sim300 module do i have to interface the simcard circuit rs232 circuit seperately??
and does this modem support call feature?
for interfacing sim 300 module to the microcontroller you will need rs232, you can connect the sim 300 module directly to the PC's com port for testing purpose. The sim modem supports sms, call as well as gprs .
