Please i want to know What is the difference between Synopsys DC and Synopsys IC Compiler
and as you know DC is very expensive to get
so if i get Synopsys IC Compiler
and learned it, whould it be easy to learn DC afterward
are they similar
is it easy to switch from one to another

actually IC Compiler is more and more expensive than DC.
it include physical compiler,Jupiter,Astro.
combine with DC to form rtl-to-gdsII flow.

Simply put:
Your design goes from DC to IC Compiler. DC basically synthesizes your design using your target technology library and IC compiler will take care of the physical things like place and route etc.

IC Compiler=Physcal Compiler + JubiterXT +Astro ,maybe.....
.physcal Compiler is superset of DC.
ICC==Magma
