Dear all
I am facing this situation for the first time. I was initially given a netlist with the corresponding .sdc file for place and route which went fine.
Now i am given a new netlist with a few updates and no sdc file and am asked to change the prev one and carry further with place and route for time being .
I dont no how to proceed with this. if i try give the prev SDC file . the loadtiming command gives error as nets not found

Hi,
As far as I know you make changes in the code or existing .sdc file you need to resynthesize the design with new constarints & then import the netlist & .sdc etc.......
