Post28 Apr 2008 9:40   How to change 'hostid' ?

Hi folks

I'm running CentOS 4 and I have 2 network cards : one is ethernet card and the other is wireless (wifi) card. I used to have my hostid as the ethernet's MAC address. After I managed to configure the wireless card to run, the hostid changed to the wireless card MAC address! .. now, I'm unable to run some of my tools which are attached to the old hostid Sad

Anyone knows how to change the hostid back to be the ethernet card's MAC address ?

Alternatively your application vendor can likely ship you a new license.
