Hi all
i want to design "constant current constant voltage" circuit which gives constant current of 1A and constant voltage of 48V.
i m new to this .please help me out.

| hmmm, what do you preferred? AC or DC? i think you can dig to the series of circuitry in designing a voltage regulator.

ats,
A regulator can not be constant current and constant voltage simultaneously. Such a device could only meet its specifications at 1 value of load resistance. In your case, it would meet its spec for a load resistance of 48 Ohms. You can design a constant voltage regulator that has a current limiter set at 1 Ampere, or a constant current regulator that has a voltage limit (Compliance) of 48V.

Kral

| try to make a good voltage regulator, high current and also which supports load, line according to ur requirements. i dont know about what king of load u will use but according to ur load u have to design (if required) current limiter circuit. if u dont need load regulation i.e. ur load is fixed then possibly u can avoid limiter circuit
