I have a Panasonic TX-W32D2DP which is EURO3HW chassis. The TV is stuck in Standby. Any Remote control commands are recieved OK and any front panel button presses are OK. The standby light goes off for about 2 seconds and comes back on again. I can hear the switching clicks.
I have checked for obvious problems, Re-soldered Q801 and IC451.
As my experience with TV servicing is limited, I was wondering if anyone can point me to known fixes for this problem.
Thanks

Hi Steve,
Our one did this also & after checking for dry solder joints etc > put it to one sid for a few days & when I went to work on it...it was working. Seems the room I was working on it in had a dehumidifier & in may have had some condesation in the LOPT (flyback transformer). Try sticking it in a dry place for a few days & see how it goes.

I will certainly give that a try. Leaving it alone for a while seems like a good idea at the moment anyway.
Cheers
Steve
