I couldn't find any info regarding your query in virtuoso user guide.. For your reference I'm uploading the user guide doc here.. Better you talk to cadence guys..

Do you sure these options about Cadence's simulator? Cadence spectre/ams/ultrasim's are different from it. Maybe is some third tools be integrated in ADE only.

It seems that it's not the cadence spectre's menu.
tiger888 may be right. It seems some third tools integrated.

those options r used to analyze ur design. ie to do dc , ac transient analysis

It appears these are Steady-State analyses from Mentor Graphic's Eldo RF tools:

So I assume there going to be similar to pss analyses.
