i want to get a component from CIRCAD library to @ltium library.
Is it possible? if so, how can it be done?

Not that I know of, your best bet is to probably try to first convert to something that @ltium can import, then import to @ltium.

hi

I checked with what @ltium imports? it seems to be importing libraries, schematics, pcb designs from different E-CAD packages like circuitmaker, p-cad, orcad etc.

But, i want to get a component footprint from circad to @ltium. I never tried of moving the footprint alone between any packages....

Its not very difficult to make footprints in @ltium. What is the components part# that you are trying to import?

hi
i need the footprint of MIC5011 surface mount component. Can we use standard SO-8 footprint for this component.
I did the footprint for MIC5011 surface mount in @ltium. but, someone need to check it...

I have created and attached 3 footprints using the IPC tool.
M- Least density
N- Normal density
L- Most density

If your board is not dense, you can use the one ending with M, or N. If your board is very dense then you can use the one ending with L.
