Hi,
I need to make a resistance circuit measurement wich has to work over 0-70°C. I would like to know the pros and cons about:
- using a constant current source (it has to be between 50-100mA) and then measure the voltage accross the resistance under test.
- using a voltage source with a serie resistance (this create a voltage divisor) and then measure the voltage accross the resistance under test.

voltage source
+ Easy scematic.
- The output is non-linear and resultant resistance has to be calculated.
constant current source
- Little more complex schematic.
+ If you tune this right, you will be able to measure the resistance with a voltmeter. However if the voltmeter is analog you'll have to use a buffer to avoid error readings.

| Ok thanks, I didn't think about the non linearity of the voltage divisor...
