if you want a very simple inverter http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/power/033/index.html but you must change the final tranzistors with some power mosfets.
If the supply is used for computer and monitor only, you can build a smps with CC output (300V).

In both situations you must make a switch device with relays and a battery charging circuit.
Goodlock.

The 500W inverter at Electronics-Lab was recently changed by the moderator:
1) It doesn't have enough output transistors.
2) Its oscillator has a 4.7uF non-polar capacitor.
3) Its oscillator has a 1k resistor but Texas Instruments says not less than 10k. It should have a 0.1uF metalized plastic film non-polar capacitor and a 39k resistoir for 60Hz and a 47k resistor for 50Hz.
4) There are no spike protection diodes.
5) It uses two LM324 quad opamps instead of a single LM358 dual opamp.
It is a mess. The moderator deleted my fixed version that works fine for years.

Electronics-Lab also has another inverter that doesn't work. It blows up its capacitors that have backwards polarity, its transistors have avalanche breakdown and have a base current much too low.
The moderator says it works fine.

Why do you show a 28.6W 13V power supply?

A 1500W inverter will draw a current of 150A from a 12V battery which will cause it to boil or explode.
150A circuits are not simple.

I am agreed with AUDIOGURU's reply.

That 500W design is totally a mess. The selection of RC for 50Hz is totally wrong.

Please post any better design of UPS

The UPS circuit is very professional, not a simple hobbiest circuit.

I never found a "simple" UPS as of the moment...and with that load requirements? i'll buy a generator if i were you..

I am reading & watching EDA Board from some time I think no one is serious. Helpers did not post practical projects to bulid they think every one is as experienced and qulified as them.
Please explain your circuits & projects properly.
Thanks for reading.

The circuit you provided is not matched with P.C.B & Layout.

Where is the Circut of the P.C.B you Provided?

The Program is for the circuit which use PIC16F84.

DO NOT CONFUSE THINGS
