Before Testing the Sequential circuit, we dont have any controlliability and observability. when enter into the test mode, we put the Muxed circuit for the Flops. Then we have both control and obseve on the sequential circuit

HI Kiran,

Your understanding is correct. Only thing to note is that the mux comes into scene only when we are loading the scan chains otherwise it remains as a normal flop during the capture mode.
