09 Mar 2008 19:47 ADC : Not Shown Stable Reading on Hyperterminal |

Hello,
I am New for ADC
I am working on ADC CS5460 24 Bit SPI Based.
I can communicate with ADC very fine "Means Reading and writing Some Default Registers.
But I am NOT able to see Stable reading which i actual want to measure on HYPER TERMINAL also see some Garbage values Randomly Not periodically.
Why?
Can any one sent me some sample program for CS5460 for Voltage and Current Measurements?
Thank You
Gurpreet Singh

Hi
In order to see stable result on A2D you will need to use a stable ref voltage and to avarge the reading of the A2D
Read the A2D 100 time , sum the result and divide by 100
You will not be able to that using hyper treminal
All the best
