Thanks in advance.

| You just have to design a ciorcuit like in light dimmers but with a powerful triac. It's done like this in my 130A welder, and in many Homemade projects.

Thanks,
Can you share the schematics?
I have an old oil-filled 240vac powered arc welder and I want to weld thin metals.

Perhaps you can contact the original author and see if he ever got that schematic version working.
Good Luck
