I have created a pcb symbol in Allegro that has two pins and looks like a short at DC. I basically connected pin1 to pin2 with a piece of copper. At DC this looks like a short but at microwave frequency this is filter. When I load this into Allegro, it complains that I shorted two nets. Is there a workaround for this issue? This must be a common problem for microwave designs (filters, antennas, resonators etc).
Thanks for you help,
Michal

Which version of Allegro is???
There are few ways to do this,
If your two pins connection do not make a exotic looking pad then creat just one pin for this part the same shape as it is connected. Another one is keep your current way and in schematic connect two pins together.

| You can assign one pin as connect pin and the other pin as mechanical pin,and connect the two pins

Net_Short Property on Pin; Signal1:Signal2
Design your Pins a little longer as the "line to line" property is,
no hug, bubble to shove and fire.
