This new edition is authored by John G. Proakis and Massoud Salehi, in McGraw-Hill book series (2008) with I8SBN Code: 0072957166 and ISBN-13: 978007295716.
Anyone has access to this book ?

is it the newest version of "digital communications"??? since proakis was the only author of this book and with Salehi has had a simplified version of the book called "Communication Systems Engineering ".

I saw many of you asking for this 5th edition. I can't see any major difference between 4th edition. Only difference is the addition of a new author, Mashoud Salehi. The presentation even is almost identical...So guys don't bother on looking for 5th edition.
