hai...
iam new in embedded field .
i don't no how to download the code in 8051.
iam using KIEL software.
is it possible to download directly from KIEL or any other download software needed.
if any one have that pl. send to me.

Hi,
I have used AT89C51 2 years back. AT89C51 requires a programmer for downloading the program into the flash of the controller. In other words AT89C51 did not have a insystem programming facility. To the best of my knowledge you need a programmer for downloading the program into the controller.Keil would generate a hex file & u have to use that hex file which you have to download using the downloader.

my dear friend, i advise you to discard keil and use c franklin for programing 8051.
i have c-franklin software and full circuit and its software for uploading hex code in 8051 family micro controler .if it is helpful for you please send me a request post to send it for you.

my friend i have sent you full tools for programing 8051 family micro controller
it can upload and download hex or bin file in your microcontroller.
you should at first make a circuit for communation between pc and micro.i have
sent you the schematic of that circuit. pay atttention there is two diffrent type of regulator 7805 in that circuit,but you can use typical dip package of this ic which is avail able anywhere. there is a pre programed 8051 micro that you can make it by uploading the 89series41.hex file to a 8051 micro(take help of any one who has programmer 8051).there is also free sogtware which you should install on your pc
please install proload41setup.exe. i had made this programmer it had worked well.
it can program 89c51,89s51,892051,other s and c type of 8051 familly micro.

As i know the 89s52 (S Series) was support the In-System-Programing, and for downloading you can use Pgm89v31

when u have the hex file, u can use SPI programmer(http://www.kmitl.ac.th/~kswichit/ISP-Pgm3v0/ISP-Pgm3v0.html) for ATMEL tragets. And "flash Magic" for Philips targets...
