help to get started

your requirement is to just find the faults and repair them, am i correct or your requirement is to get into detials of the board...

Board is simply not consisting of resistors, capacitors, diode and transistor there are other components too that you may not get in GCSE stuff...

but for fault finding.. we can help you in and out..

Re: help to get started

Hi,
I have been doing repair jobs for the last 5-6 years. You can start with the power section of any electrical or electronic equipment. In the beginning you will find fuses and other protective parts like VDR etc.
Thereafter you can see for other visible semiconductors & parts like, blown up capacitors, flare up capacitors, burned diodes, burned resistances. My ---, its lot to tell you about but knowing the components and their function is very very important for repair jobs. Also you can go through the service and repair manuals of different manufacturer. If you need any specific help, write back to me,
Regards
