hi edians...
i 'm encountering sm problems while opening the sites...www.orkut.com
n www.hotmail.com
while tryin to open the above sites, local wamp's homepage is opening bt not the the website i needed.
is it bolcked frm the server??? can any bdy plz help me out with this so tht i cud able to open the sited i needed!!!!

Maybe it is an error of DNS. Try to use IP adress instead of the name. Find IP here:

http://network-tools.com/default.asp?prog=lookup&host=www.orkut.com+

The IP for www.orkut.com is 209.85.141.85 - try it.
