hey i'm new here thought i would say hi.
whats this whole points system?
Added after 12 minutes:
never mind on the points thing i found the rules
i dont understand why, can anybody explain why?

| It is noncommercial site. Point system was made here to distribute bandwidth between users. At autumn of 2002 users eat all month traffic limit for 15 days and another half of month server was closed. Then point system was made. Firstly every user has got his month limit in points and it was refuled at start of every month. Later users started to gain points by making posts and by uploads. After some time mirror system was added - it is allowing to download from mirror site without points. You will have access to mirror links in 15 days after registration.

The mirror (or site mirror) is an alternative download link, here in this board it is useful to use mirror for those who are insufficient in points (or thrifty in their points) to download or access a file, eg. eBooks, Datasheet, Software, Whitepapers, etc.
