Hi all,

I have bought a DELL labtop. On its AC adapter there are many logos printed that i do not know what does they mean. Such as UL standard logo or CE logo. Is there any web site that lists these logos?

UL is Underwriters Laboratories inc. Among others they certified electronics for the US market. (Or better North American market. US, Mexico, Canada.

CE stands for Conformité Européenne. It is the European legal sign that the product conforms to the European laws of electricity safety, EMC, etc. For most products you may self certify. (And in case of control you must be able to show the relevant documentation.... Smile )

FCC is a US legal sign that the product is conform EMC laws.

These are the most common signs.
