what is your data?please send it.
in wavelet toolbox you should at first load your signal
and then denioised it with graphical tools or command line in Matlab.
your data should be in .mat fomat.
please send your data to process it.

i am still in the begning of my research . i was to ask you , what is you "data" that you are used ? and how i can do simulation by using matlab "wavelet toolbox"?
also, do you have any puplication you think it will help me in my research ?........if yes please upload it to me....

as I mentioned the data which you use should be in .mat format
in fact the ECG signal are in three format:
.dat .atr .hea
from these three format you should convert the .dat (i.e the main ECG signal)to the .mat format becuase wavelet toolbox can only read signal in .mat format

Could you tell me that the data that you are mentioned are A or D and how i can read if and convert it to format.mat.

by this m file you can convert .dat signal to .mat format
try this and if you have any problem say me
at first by using this m file convert an ECG signal to matlab readable format and load it then plot signal.

I think if you read matlab tutorial help about wavelet toolbox it may more help you.
it's too large and I can't upload this now BCZ I'm busy.So you can search and if you dont't get this file i'll upload it.

i've got difficult to run the program could you please explain what dose it mean by:

and what dose it mean "format 212"
and dose the program run only by format 212?
what about another formats ?
do you have program matlab about "compression ECG"
also do you have any thing about spiht algorithm because my reserch "Wavelet Compression of ECG Signals by the Set Partitioning in Hierarchical Trees (SPIHT) Algorithm"

you can use database from :
http://www.physionet.org/physiobank/database/mitdb/
the ECG files are in three format and you should download all o them in a folder
i.e in the above link for first signal you should download this files:
100.dat
100.hea
100.atr
and then excute the PhysioNet_ECG_Exporter_2.m mfile
the first question ask you where is your database you should write your root that
your database are there.
for example:
if you download your database in c:\download folder to reply the first question you should type this root in matlab command.
to reply other question you should type two integer
for example you can use
ECG Start Time =0
and
ECG End Time = 20
by these integer you assign your ECG signal Range
I think it's clear now, isn't it?

I've followed yhe steps and I've obtained on a picture for two signals.....also, I;ve got on a file as ".mat".
my quation is: I do not know what the two signals that i got mean?
and how i can use the functions of wavelet on this file?

What is the format of the signal files?
Many formats are supported. Most signal files are written in "format 212", in which two 12-bit samples are bit-packed into three 8-bit bytes. See signal(5) in the WFDB Applications Guide for details on format 212 and on the other supported formats.
To determine which format is used for a given signal file, look in the associated header file. (This is a text file that usually has the same name as the signal file, except for a suffix of .hea instead of .dat.) Each line of the header file that begins with the name of the signal file describes the format and contents of a signal within the signal file. See header(5) in the WFDB Applications Guide for details.

I've replied your question
if you want to compress ECG signal with Wavelet Transform You should be familar
with this Transform.this link will help you:

also you can read may book abuout wavelet theory to be familar with this transform.you can search on this site to find ebook about wavelet.
then if your project is simulink project you need a program such as Matlab
You can read Matlab Wavelet help to inform many command that help you.
therefor I suggest you
at first you should learn Wavelet theory
then you can read matlab help to do your project.
