| what's with 89c2051 that other microcontroller do not have?...is it good enough to use this kind of microcontroller?...

| This is cheaper and smoler (20 pin) version of AT89C51 with all its periheral (2 Timer/couter, UART, Interrupt controller) and analog comparator.

| at89c2051 is a low power voltage version . It have two pin (AIN1 ,AIN2) to input analog signal.

yes but is not easy to built a good programmer...
if anyone knows something for dl2tm programmer(and if it works with icprog in any paraller port) please tell me...and also i cant find a pcb for dl2tm programmer!...can anyone help me;;;

| vjfaisal many have explain the difference and the advantages.. 2051 is small (20 pins) and has all the features that you can use in advace designing... it is low power specially if you have to design a circiut with back (battary) supply, it is convinient, easy available, easy to program, no programming problems etc.

I have yet to find a distributor that carries the Newer 89S2051.
Can anyone recommend some distributors in North America?
(particularly the ones who have stock)

Added after 2 minutes:
Download DIY package from the site and ask admin if any problem to build it.
Try it.
U would find it better.

89c2051 is a small pincount version of at89c51 with all its facilities. The added facilities are low voltage operation, ports can source more current, a analog comparator, etc.

Yes he is correct. For example atmega 8 is available cheaper than 2051.
Think switching over to something higher.
