| I think u can grab very very good job through on-campus if u r doing masters frm IIT/IISC. Option of higher studies is also there. So in both way it's will be helpful.

Hi Shweta,
Getting masters from premiere institutes like IIT/IISc is good option for getting higher studies, but for job point of view there is not much usefull. The salaries are 20% high for fresh M.Tech grad compared fresh B.Tech grad, you have two years of experiance so, in industry point of view its equavalent to M.Tech from IIT/IISc. For doing masters it takes two years, from then again u have to do job so, it doesn't helps much in terms of salaries. My sugestion is continue with present job with two more years of experiance you will be in high position, this is if money is creteria.
This is my view, others may have different.

I think, if you are interested, it's better to do mtech in part time. YOu can search in internet.
becuae in vlsi industry masters adds you a value. at the same time you should not loose the corporate experience.
better do mtech with sponsership from your employer

Hi Shwetha,
Most of the companies in India look out people with Masters degree for fields like Analog Circuit Design or Digital Full custom circuit design. So if you are interested in Analog/Full Custom Deisgn then getting a Masters degree would certainly be helpful for you in long run.
