hi all
it is my first trial ever to make a layout
all what i have done before is making schematics on orcad and simulate
now i have a project to make a layout for an ic which have no pspice model it's package is 28QFN..what i know from some tutorials that i should draw my schematic on orcad then annotate and some steps..but how i can put this IC on schematic
i know it is silly but i wanna you teach me these stuff
please help

you can go through the help file of the orcad it is the easiest you can get in any tool.

first create PCB footprint for the said IC and name accordingly. In schematic library, you have to give this footprint name as one of the attributes.

after that you have to create the netlist and import it into the PCB. that's all you have to do to get the components onto the PCB. rest I think you know.
