Hello,
I found the D_A(2oo1.o GUI working error on RH73.
It seemed that the kernel of RH73 have many changes than RH72.
I don't know if other people have such a trouble?

I installed synopsys 2002.05 on redhat7.3
dc_Shell and dc_shell-t work fine,but
design_analyze don't work!

Which version of 2002.05 did you install?
There are "special" syn*psys binaries for RH 7.x
that will allow the GUI products to work.
The standard 2002.05 linux package will only
work with RH 6.2.
(This applies only to the GUI interfaces. If you
want to work exclusively in shell-mode than either
binary package will work...)

| syn0psvs v2002.05 can work under redhat 7.3, no problem, Do you install it correctly? I use syn0psys 2002.05 well!

I install syn0psys2002.05 under redhat 7.3
in fact I can run design_analyze,however, when I read some
souce code,it will quit quickly!

If design_analyzer crashed, try to open command window and
type commands to run your project. It works well and not crashes.

in sysnopsys 2002.05-1 linux version, the GUI dv and da have fatal error in some area.
when i save a db file, it automatic exit and generate lots of code for dubug! i use RH7.2. I think the platform is ok. and it is need to download another version of syn.
ps: the shell interface is ok. the problem is only in gui

There are the same problem in 2002.05-1 and 2001.08.
The best way is to use the console mode, not gui mode.

gui is working great!
