Dear All,

do you think that BiCmos is a technology of the future (over 5 years from now on) ? Is it worth spending time on knowledge of bipolar transistor ?

Comments/thoughts apprecited.

Thanks.

i think the HBT which is done in BICMOS is working good and give very high performance for PA , and LNA so in MMIC this will be used , the CMOS transistor as it is get scalled down it gets faster but lower gain , and with some limitations like noise and so on

khouly

last for long time. for high voltage swing ,current driving capability-bicmos is an only alternative.
