Where to get boards made when using 0.5mm BGA's???

Since there are billions of cell phones out there that must use lots and lots of 0.5mm BGA's and the boards cannot be ridiculously expensive, there must be lots of companies that can handle such small vias and spacings that I require. I have 0.1mm traces, spaces and vias. Also, my spacing from via hole to traces is 0.15mm which is not because I like things close, it is because that is the EXACT parameter that allows me to get one trace out between each pad and via. I have had quotes for boards that use microvias but it was 2.5x more expensive.

Where do you send your boards for such fine pitch specs? Thanks!

Where you from ? There are many pcb factories in Mainland China can get the job done with cheap price. But they need you to tell them target quantity.

Re: Where to get boards made when using 0.5mm BGA's???

Hi. I am in the US and the prices are generally a lot higher here than in China. I would have no problems ordering my prototypes from China (qty <=5) and I would be interested in getting links from people who live in North America and have had good luck with off shore PCB fabs. The other problem is that China is on holiday this week and getting quotes back is delayed right now. Smile
