Not sure but this was removed from post the other day.

Just wondering how do i send a voltage down a parallel port? just want to send an on and off signal to the different wires that can be sent.

Also is there any freeware software out there that i can test out to send signal from?

use vb (visual basic)
It is easy. you can build your own graphical interface.
There are lots of tutorials just search these are some:
