Working on it
What exactly are you interested in? I have collected a vast amount of articles during my master research (which I am working on), so maybe I could direct you to something special.
My research focusses mainly on artificial magnetic ground planes for application in zero-wavelength salisbury absorbers

Dear all,...
Help me in my final project.
i made microstrip antenna and concerned about electromagnetic band gap with defected ground structure (DGS) where i create slot at the ground metal form my antenna.
but i m very poor about theory of EBG and DGS. if u dont mind can u give some advice for my project..
i m working with microwave studio for simulation.
thanks in advance

This one could be a good starter:
http://ceta.mit.edu/PIER/pier61c/02.0601171.SK.Tae.L.pdf
Sohn et al investigate 4 types of AMC's for low profile antenna applications: a sievenpiper surface, uniplanar EBG, peano fractal and hilbert fractal curves.
Basically, these all act as a planar resonant LC circuit and therefore reflect the E field in phase. This way the antenna could be close to the surface (instead of 1/4 λ for a PEC)
For further basic info, there's an awful lot of articles about sievenpiper surfaces (starting in 1999: http://scholar.google.nl/scholar?hl=nl&lr=&cluster=15442605938087014411), J McVay, N Engheta and A Hoorfar did a lot on peano and hilbert fractal curve AMC's (for instance: http://scholar.google.nl/scholar?hl=nl&lr=&cluster=12872121660587165093)
I myself am currently working on the application of such AMC's to replace the PEC and 1/4 λ spacer in salisbury screen absorbers, doing simulations in HFSS and FEKO.
Can't get to you through e-mail, since that's all blocked from within the company (defence)
I could mail in weekends, but then I won't have all info with me however. Subject is completely unclassified, so I am allowed to tell you anything, but there are limited options to do so. If you want, you can call me by old school telephone however

| hi heviraf. I´ve been working with EBG´s to mitigate simultaneous switching noise and recently I´m studying DGS to do the same. I´ve designed a mushroom-like EBG in a double layer PCB. I´d like to know more about your project to try to help you. Greetings
