I have problem with IC compiler 2005. Here what I have in the package:
dcm_script dcm_script_hp32
dcm_script_rs6000
dcprocheck_exec_script install_dc
install_icc
install_icc_shell
install_lc
install_mc
install_psyn
install_vhdl
setup_astro_env_script
setup_icc_mw_env
When I run ./ install_icc, it ask me that
Synopsys root directory [ /usr/Synopsys/IC_COMPILER_2005_12_SP1 ]:
I enter /usr/Synopsys (my install directory) and it show up
/usr/Sysnopsys/admin/setup/.synopsys_dc.setup not found.
Synopsys root directory [ /usr/Synopsys/IC_COMPILER_2005_12_SP1 ]:
Can you tell what the problem is?

| You should use the installer (synopsys's software for installing their products) to install ICC.

| You can run the installer's GUI through the command "SETUP.SH". And then you can go to the directionary of ICC and select the ICC packge in the GUI.

Thanks for quick response. But it ask the CD number or key number of this CD, honestly I don't have it. If I skip this step, it automaticly close. Do you know how to skip that?

When I type ./install_icc I get a message telling me: "The ICC installation is not complete without Milkyway".
How can I go through this, I tried to download Milkyway from Synopsys site but a license is required.
Could you please tell me where to find the Synopsys Installer, the url indicated by synopsys doesn't exist anymore !

| It seems that the package you are using is not the original one. Please run cksum to compare the CRC number.

You can find synopsys installer in here:

But the installation doesn't finish successfully, it says that I need Milkyway installation.
