Hi,
I have a problem with the RF output precision of my HP8657B signal generator and there is no manual on my hand. Does anyone know how to calibrate the RF output level?
I opened the out covers and every RF shields but it seems there is no any adjustable component for calibrating RF output level, I guess that the level may be adjusted through front panel keyboard. If you know how to do, or if you have the calibration/service manual please kindly drop me a line.

Hi Baidu,
That's easy, add an continous, variable attenuator after the sig. gen. You can get your desired.

Hi mesfet,
Thanks, but I want to calibrate it, not set offset, HP8657 has offset function and no need to add additional attenuator.
