how do i decode the dtmf tones in a cellphone??
i found many circuits on net where one can decode telephone dtmf tones using 8870 ....in using the same ic to decode cellphone dtmf ..does it require any change in the circuit???

There are no DTMF tone in a cellphone!

cell phones can produce dtmf tones...once connection has been established
thats what i read somewhere

sounds like what you need is a simple dtmf decoder. schematic and info can be found at
http://www.bobblick.com/techref/projects/tonedec/tonedec.html
yes a cell phone can generate dtmf and receive it as well.
