Hi Everybody:
I am now using HFSS to simulate my structure, but I found that when I finish the analysis and draw the plot of the field of the port mode, it seems unable to change the plot properity.
Since my structure is in nature a complicated two plate microstrip while the distance between the two plates are only 3 um, so the port mode or the e-field between the two plates are hard to show up.
So who can tell me is it possible to change the plot properties just like I can do in CST
I know this is a basic question, but it bothers me for a while

Hey arthury,
You can change the scale that shows up on the Vector fields which means that the maximum size of the arrow that shows direction of the E-field can be made larger.
Donno if this will help but you can give it a shot..
Ananth.

First make the field plot, then double-click on the color-scale: A Window with four registers appears. Under "Scale" you can change the limit values of the color scale manually. This is very useful since the autoscaling sets values that might be tolerated errors. You should always set limits here, that make sense.
If you plot vectors you can change the arrow properties under "Marker/Arrow".
If you plot 3D it is very useful to change the style from "Cloud" (dots) to "IsoValSurface" under the register "Plots".
Try this: Zoom and rotate so that you can recognize the model well, then make the plot. (2D if I understand you right) Then change the limits. They might be set to 0.000012345 and 33.6789. But if you excite with E=1V/m the max-value cannot rise above 2. So it might be better to set the values to 0.001 and 2. This will also help you to make nicer plots for a presentation.
