| Xircuit is very good for documentation, you can make nice schematics. They are very good looking in paper.

you can use orcad 10/15 for circuits drawing.

and protius also a good package for circuits drawing

| Try circad, if you can find an old version it's very nice and powerful and you can do very good schematic and not only... In the net you can find a lot of libraries for it.

| u can use PCB wizard for making PCB layout and also schematic drawings.. Orcad also a good software to do this jobs

| anyone ever tried sPlan 6 ? it seems to be only for drawing, I don't see any netlist export function for PCB or simulation! Very strange.... makes it mostly useless for anything but drawing???

hi.............
there are lots of choice available for u..........
u can use
1. orcad
2. eagle (pcb designing)
3. multi sim(it comes with boylstead cd)
4. microsoft visio (some small ckt can be drawn with visio)
5. auto cad (not suggested bcoz it basically used to draw civil construction plan but with some knowledge ckt pcb layout can also be drawn )
well rest s/w if i'l know then inform u........

i suggest you to use office visio 2007.
tghe circuit which you will be draw ,colld be added to word powerpoint and other office programs.also you can edit it in that mentioned programs.you can define your desired symbol for electronic devices in its editor.
