Could anyone tell me how to compile my 8051 source into hex file ? Does any kind of application exist for this purpose ? If you know that , Please tell me .

pls check http://www.pjrc.com/tech/8051/
there is a free open source c compiler & assembler for 8051.
maybe it can work under linux.

| Try SDCC compiler. Is very good and free. You can also find same IDE for this.

and a lot of others on www.sourceforge.net - just enter "8051" in the search field!
