hi,
can some please provide me pin layout for 40-pin 3 1/2 digit Numeric LCD (offenly used in Multi-meters). I'm unable to search it on net.

Thanks Ianp for the link. That was of great help. I'm trying to merge this display with 89c51. i require only lower 3 digits. can i merge it directly to 89c51 via three 74HC595's or will i have to use lcd display driver ics.
