I can't use the pt2002.3_linux gui in redhat 7.3,but other can use in command-line!
why?
can anyone help me?

The Prime Time GUI is based on Linux "MainWindows" (MW) Env. - and comes up fine in RH 7.3, works fine...BUT doesn't quit.
Synopsys has announced that it will NOT support MW GUIs for Linux RH anymore.
Starting from 2002.05 releases, all Synopsys Linux GUI products will be based on RH "QT" windows Env.

I think that 2002.05 for linux doesn't released yet. for the readme said:
This is not a 'installable' download. You will need to manually
install the directory files and update the appropriate scripts.
This is a full install, the files do not overlay onto previous
releases.
(1) Download the files you need. You must download the file
2002.05.tar.Z, which creates the 2002.05 installation
directory. Then, choose which platform files you need.

Untaring 2002.05.tar will create the "2002.05"

ccfxd
doc
dw
interfaces
libraries
mc
packages
sold
swbom
vfoce
(4) Copy the platform specific tar files into the newly
created 2002.05 installation directory and untar.
Platform Specific Directories:-
hp32
hp64
rs6000
sparc64
sparcOS5
(5) Edit 'psyn_shell' and 'psyn_gui' scripts to point to
your local installation executables.
(6) Edit <installation>/admin/license/key to point to your
2002.05 license file.
