Post08 Dec 2006 11:58   How to simulate a resistor in Microstripes?

Hello

I am designing a Wilkinson power divider these days. I will have to simulate it in Microstripes 7.5. Anyone can tell me how to simulate the resistors?

I have read many times about the chapter 'wire and circuits' in the reference manual but still cannot understand.

Best Regards.

I wanted to see an example of incorporating lumped elements too. The manual is really lacking!

you can draw a rectangular and assign a lumped boundry with 50ohm

design a resistor is simple in MICRFOSTRIPES....Jst define a wire with 2 point on the location in power divider and go to the circuit and define a circuit contain resitor and then in a wire properties u can connect the end of the resistor with the wire nodes ...hope it works ...

Maybe it's better if you give the snapshot here. Would you like to share the tutorial about microstripes here? I really need the tutorial because the user guide is not help for me. Many lack in the user guide of microstripes. But actually I interested in the speed and accuracy of microstripes.
