i prefer AVG professional 8
norton is very heavy and slows down ur PC. Thus i use AVG.

i have been using avast
i have had no problem so far from net but it doesnot detect viruses from the usb drive

Google is the best guide to find out more details on a software that you see highly ranked.
A comparative study requires a LOT of time and investment which is not warranted by a post at EDABoard.

The AVG Antivirus seemed to be working well for my home computer and it is free.
need not buy it and it does a very good job....

| I used to use NOD32 but I recently switched to Antivir Free. It is one of the best now, especially with heuristics.
