It is easier connect 6230B by serial interface, not by USB interface.

Hi Budhy, I am using the serial communication connecting Hiperterminal >> max232 >> cel, but profit answer of cel 9600-8-N-1 in addition I do not place to zener when coming out of 3,3 volts TX of max, if I prove it with the Cable of the cellular USB if I have answer.

You know your configuration of the serial communication?

Re: Connection USB PIC18F4550 and Nokia 6230B

Hello Gladys, Sorry, not explain to me well.

My intention is to connect the cellular one to pic, with no need to use a computer, right now I am making tests with the serial port if it works there, he is almost safe that it is possible to be connected to pic. I am testing these with serial port by comfort.

To see if the cellular one responds to commandos AT, but when attempt to send commandos AT with the serial interface, the cellular one does not respond to no commando, shipment commandos AT and I do not have answer of the cellular one. However when I connect cellular with cabel of data USB and the shipment commandos AT if it responds these.

some suggestion?

18f4550 is a slave USB device. It cannot be used in that way.

Re: Connection USB PIC18F4550 and Nokia 6230B

hello Beowolf, thanks that already I know it, but you see in first post, I I exposed that if an application in the cellular one in java can be done, so that the cellular one detects to pic, but not if the port of the cellular one can be handled.

Budhy exposed, that is no necessity to use the interface usb, can be used the FBUS of the cellular one, but that does not work because, it can to be that the FBUS of the cellular ruined east, the cellular one is a Nokia 6230B, which 1108B will not be tried is to make communication FBUS but with a other cellular Nokia, reason why investigated this if it responds to codes AT via FBUS.

Thank's
