02 Nov 2006 10:01 Memory Problem of IC51 on Centos 3.8 |

Hi,
I have install IC51 on Centos 3.8 (which should be similar to RHES3). Everything work pretty well, beside the hardware support is not so good and I had to find some driver by myself.
However, I found that after I do some parametric simulation (e.g. 50 points).
A lot of process called "java" (the path is jre dir in IC51/tools) is here, and they will not be terminted even all of my simulation done.
As a result, the memory is running out.
Does anyone have this problem? And how do you solve it?
Thanks

You should use a big memory, such as 1G or more and set a large swap, such as 2G.
Added after 1 minutes:
I also sugest you install Centos 4.2 or RHEL 4 to support your hardware. IC51 can work well on them.

Finally found that is problem of wavescan, now using AWD and everything is much faster and the memory leakage is lower.
Btw, I have 2GB Memory
