Try this discussion list:

***** Profibus Public Mailinglist *****
***** Plain text only, for security reasons *****
***** No MIME *** No Attachments *****

ProfibusFieldbusForum(at)ade.no (profibus-list(at)ade.no)

Monthly information about usage.

PURPOSE

Purpose of the list is to discuss and share experience with Profibus.
Both questions and information postings are welcome.

USAGE

Initial posting.

Posting is done by sending a mail to profibus-list(at)ade.no.
The contents of your mailing will be forwarded as mail to all the
subscribers within 12 hours. As a member of the list you will then
receive a copy, slightly modified by the listserver. Due to security
reasons and in respect to those with limited bandwith, only ascii
text without attachment is allowed. Also make sure all MIME switches
are turned off.

Reply to a posting.

Replying is done in the same manner as to any other mail you receive.
The reply should automatically go to profibus-list(at)ade.no which will
handle it like an initial posting. Please relay responses through the
list and not directly as more people might like to know your response,
not only the person posing the question. Of course, personal answers
without interest for the general public should not be directed to the
list, but rather direct to the communication partner. Remember to
check the To: field before sending your reply.

Getting on and off the list.

The server can only act upon commands sent as plain ascii message
(No MIME). The contents of Subject: has no relevance. All lines in
a message to listserver(at)ade.no is treated as commands. Always include
the End command as this prevents the server to try to interpret your
signature as commands. Please unjoin and join again if a automatic
vacation reply is activated. They and the listserver are not always
clever enough to always avoid endless loops.

For subscribing, or joining the list the message to listserver(at)ade.no
must be:
join profibus-list
end

Un-subscribing is similar, the message text must be:
UNJOIN profibus-list
end

----
Archive of this mailing list can be found on
http://www.profibus.cz/archive/

To un-subscribe, send a mail to listserver(at)ade.no containing:
UNJOIN profibus-list
as the mail body
Please report problems to wfs-operator(at)ade.no
