i m finding a problem while doing my RS232 cable.
please help me to solve this.
i m making my own ISP programmer and i m having one error :"communication reception error"
suggess something while troubleshooting this.

hello nidhi,
i have checked your circuit.
it seems ok..altough can you please forwad its link..??
BTW, try these steps to solve your problem::
-> check used components and connections done properly ..??
-> check the connections of 9-pin connectors @ both the end..
-> i think you need to load the hex file in 2051 for communication which is normally given with the circuit..
according to me your problem should be solve after this checking.
all the best...!!

then do one thing..
you can check with the help of hyperterminal.. but before that i'll suggest you to check all the IC from your board..
# 1st check at you @ PC end RS232.
# if its output is ok then remove the MCU from the board and chech the RS232 connection over here.
# is here same O/P..? if yes then give the supply and check accross the MAX232 input output pins. (by following datasheet).
# if everything is OK till this point and still if your problem is not solved then you have to cross check by changing MCU and probably all ICs from your board related to this communication..
hop so your problem will be solved till this point..
