i need help in designing a cct that takes a dc input voltage and outputs a square/triangular wave. varrying the voltage should linearly change the frequency of the suare/triangular wave. the recomeded method is to use a non-linear cct such as an Integrator, together with an appropriate voltage-controlled interface.

any help would be appreciated

thanx but i m looking for a simple cct. is it posible to design this using just an op-amp, resistors and cpacitors.
according to wat i found out, i may have to use a jfet as the voltage controlled intreface.

If you need a simple VCO I would suggest some PLL ICs with VCO blocks: NE565, NE567 or the very popular CD4046 (74HC4046) .. see picture below ..
